
Ingredients
- 250g pasta (penne or spaghetti)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup cream or milk (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Pinch of chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta:
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. - Sauté Vegetables:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until soft. Add mushrooms and sauté for 4–5 minutes until golden. - Add Garlic and Spinach:
Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add spinach and cook until wilted. - Combine with Pasta:
Add cooked pasta to the skillet. Pour in cream or milk if using. Toss well to combine. Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. - Serve:
Top with parmesan cheese and serve hot.
