Honey Shrimp Rice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 200g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper.
  2. Cook the Shrimp: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side, until just turning pink.
  3. Glaze the Shrimp: Pour the honey-soy mixture over the shrimp. Stir and cook for another 1–2 minutes until the shrimp are fully coated and the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Serve: Serve the glazed shrimp over a bed of hot cooked rice. Garnish with sliced green onions and enjoy immediately.
