
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Lemon slices, for garnish
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Oven:
 Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Make the Marinade:
 In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice and zest, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Marinate the Chicken:
 Place chicken breasts in the baking dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken and turn to coat well.
- Bake:
 Arrange lemon slices on top of the chicken. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
- Serve:
 Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve with rice, potatoes, or vegetables.
