Beef Vegetable Stir-Fry Recipe

Ingredients

  • 250g beef steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 1 small broccoli head, cut into florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Beef:
In a bowl, toss beef slices with soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and cornstarch. Let sit for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Stir-Fry the Beef:
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add beef and cook quickly until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook the Vegetables:
In the same skillet, add the remaining oil. Sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds. Add bell pepper, carrot, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until just tender.
  4. Combine and Serve:
Return the beef to the skillet. Toss everything together and cook 1–2 more minutes. Adjust seasoning. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
