Honey Salmon Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Sesame seeds and green onions, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Make the Marinade:
    In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Marinate the Salmon:
    Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or zip-top bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon and let it sit for 15–30 minutes.
  3. Cook the Salmon:
    Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place salmon fillets (skin side down if any) in the skillet. Pour over the remaining marinade. Cook for 4–5 minutes on each side, or until salmon is cooked through and glaze is thickened.
  4. Serve:
    Transfer salmon to plates. Spoon any extra glaze from the pan on top. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired.
