Ingredients
- 200g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper.
- Cook the Shrimp: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side, until just turning pink.
- Glaze the Shrimp: Pour the honey-soy mixture over the shrimp. Stir and cook for another 1–2 minutes until the shrimp are fully coated and the sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve: Serve the glazed shrimp over a bed of hot cooked rice. Garnish with sliced green onions and enjoy immediately.
