
Ingredients
- 200g spaghetti
- 250g ground beef or beef/pork mix
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups tomato pasta sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Make the Meatballs:
 In a bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, parmesan, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Shape into small balls.
- Cook the Meatballs:
 Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides (about 5–6 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- Simmer in Sauce:
 Pour tomato sauce into the skillet. Return meatballs to the pan, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, until cooked through.
- Cook the Spaghetti:
 Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain.
- Serve:
 Serve spaghetti topped with meatballs and sauce. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
